F.A.Q

Nope! We provide Justice of the Peace services as part of every package, or you are welcome to have a friend or family member officiate for you. Either way, you’ll need to apply for your marriage license prior to your ceremony and bring it with you on the day. You can find more information in the mass.gov guide to Getting Married in Massachusetts.

A “micro wedding” often refers to weddings with less than 20 guests present. Some say less than 50. Like most things wedding-related, it’s subjective.
An elopement usually includes the couple and potentially a few witnesses. Small weddings, again, are relative! An 80-person wedding is large to some, but small compared to a 300-person affair. Don’t let yourself get caught up with semantics. You can call a Dearly wedding whatever you’d like. It’s designed to be nothing other than yours.

Our teeny tiny chapel is designed to cap at under 20 guests comfortably, including our couple and any vendors, such as a photographer/videographer or Dearly staff. This being said, you’re welcome to continue the party with a larger group in one of Bow Market’s dedicated event spaces!

We can take this show on the road! Check out our Justice of the Peace services or ask us our recs for the perfect party spots. We even have a partnership with our pals at Juliet if you don’t want to miss out on Dearly photos.
-
Sorry, had to sneak that one in there. Dearly is built to provide an elegant alternative to a Boston courthouse or Vegas chapel, at a price that won’t leave you sticker shocked.

Our location in Bow Market means we have access to stellar independent retailers when it comes to florals, favors and even rings! You can browse options 24/7 through the Dearly Shop, or view our preferred vendor list here.

Yes! You are welcome to bring whoever you’d like along to capture your special day.
-
You’re welcome to hire your own preferred photographer or videographer to capture your day or BYO device/video chat set up. We recommend EventLive as an easy option.

Our little corner of Bow Market is a licensed space! Dearly serves a selection of natural wine, craft beer and soft drinks as part of our “Love On Top” package. You may also pre-purchase champagne for your Quickie ceremony! BYO alcohol is not permitted.

Yes! We accept other small events on a case-by-case basis, pending availability. Here’s an incomplete list of things we feel Dearly would be perfect for: small private dinner parties, photoshoots and film screenings or (our personal fave) PROPOSALS. Let us know what you have in mind.
-
Absolutely. The booking process is the same for vow renewals and weddings.
